My first blog!!!! As many of you know I am married to the most wonderful man, Zack, and have two of the most wonderful boys, Kai who is 6 and Nathan who is 3 (we also have a 10 year old cantankorous pitbull named Bubba). I am a stay at home mom which is not as easy as the name sounds, and a do it yourselfer who is hopeful for a bright future!!! Zack and I moved BACK to Dimmitt a little over a year ago to start our life together and to give the kids the kind of small town raising we are both used to. It has been great to be able to be closer to family...and there is also a babysitter (weather it's grandparents or my sister) just a phone call away. It is also a blessing to be close to my Grandmother Mildred who just last week turned 89!!!! But enough about me if you want to know anything else just ask. This blog is going to be about our everyday lifes and everyone in it so people who weren"t so close to us may just get a little closer!!!
Today being the first Monday after spring it was pretty hectic. Kai woke this morning thinking it was summer (he got mixed up between spring break and summer) and that he was now a 2nd grader, boy did it break his heart when I had to inform him it was just a week vacation. Nathan on the other hand woke about 9 and has yet to end his day. Kai is my big boy with a soft heart, and Nathan is the little boy with a BIG attitude. Both of them act like they are 15 already...where does the time go, just the other day I was holding my sweet babies in the hospital and now....I'M PAYIN' FOR MY RAISIN'(as grandpa Jack informed me today)!!!! My birthday is Friday and Zack and I have decided to go to Ruidoso to spend the weekend, I am soo looking forward to Sarah and Zack time, not that I don't want my kids there but it has been since August since our last actual vacation.(and that was our honeymoon) It sure is going to be nice to breathe some mountain air!! Hope I didn't bore you out on my first blog, it's not as easy as it sounds, I hope you all enjoy!!!!
